Learning about Sunflowers!

Today we read a book about the life cycle of a sunflower.  We then got to see a real sunflower that Lori brought in.  For art, we got into three groups, and made cooperative sunflowers.  One child in each group cut out the middle circle and then they all made petals, stems, and leaves and decorated the middle with real sunflower seeds.  See the photos of the process and the great cooperation of the children!  We will have them posted in the hallway!
