We had beautiful weather for our field trip to the Apple Orchard! We had a fun bus ride and then when we got there, they did a presentation on cross pollination and taught the children a song about how important it is for bees to pollinate an apple blossoms to help the apples grow. Then we went on a hayride through the apple trees. After the hayride, we got to eat apple donuts and a Sweet 16 apple.
We walked to the apple trees and each got to pick a apple to take home. We learned to twist and pull the apples off the branches. Then we visited the animal barn and pet the goats and a bunny and also saw the sheep. Before we got on the bus, we played on the fun playground and on the big train. We were as busy as bees and had a really fun time! Thanks to Annie's daddy Mike and Elsa's mom Stacie for being our parent volunteers! We ran out of time so we ate our lunches back at school. See some of our photos of our great time!
