Big Cheese Maya

Maya was our big Cheese the week of March 26th.  Her mom Angela came to help Maya show her pictures and do a Hey Diddle Diddle art project with us to go with our Nursery Rhyme Theme.  Maya's family also sponsored a pizza party for our class and we got to choose cheese or pepperoni!  Yum! Thanks to Maya's family!

                                         

Mila is Our Big Cheese

This week Mila is our Big Cheese!  She was excited to bring her family with her on Monday which included Dad, Mom, Grandma, Brother,  and her dog Apollo.  Mom and Grandma read to us and we looked at Mila's wonderful poster.  We also enjoyed the cupcakes Mila brought for snack.  On Wednesday, Mom stayed to play with us and Mila shared some yummy Oreos with us.  Here are some photos of Mila's great week:

Big Cheese Lilah

This week Lilah was just so excited to be the Big Cheese!!  Her mom came this week to help her show her photos and do a beading project with us.  The bracelets were shiny and a big thrill for the children to make!
On Thursday, Lilah's  big brother Andy came to read to our class.  Andy is going to be 13 this week and he was a past student in our Red Room.

Field Trip to Edenborough Park

It was a perfect day to go to an indoor park on this rainy, dreary day!  When we got there, we started out in the big gym with bikes, roller racers, basketballs and hoops, balls, and a huge bounce house!  Then we went to the giant climber with big slides! We played for over an hour and then had a picnic lunch.  All the children were so sleepy when we got back, and they all napped!
