Pumpkin Pie Playdough

Today we read the book There was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie.  We fed the Little Old Lady Puppet we have all of the yummy Thanksgiving foods she ate in the book.  Then we made pumpkin pie playdough from scratch!  It smelled delicious and it was fun to make and play with!

Today in the Red Room

We had a wonderful day in the Red Room today!  The children were so creative and they interacted so nicely with each other.  There were just so many "Kodak moments"!  Our project today was "Turkey Dressing."  See them on the back bulletin board.

Glurch!

One of the popular spots in our room was the glurch table!  We  made glurch by mixing liquid starch and glue together to make the consistency of silly putty.  Many of the children were afraid to touch it but when they did, they thought it was "cool stuff"!
